NewsX: Mid-day Meal- Nitish announces Rs. 2 Lakh compensation

NewsX: It was a meal that was meant to feed hungry children in Chhapra, Bihar. The government school Mid-Day Meal Scheme turned into a nightmare. This tragedy broke out in a massive protest in Chhapra. The age of the innocent children were between 4 and 8 years. Nitish Kumar orders for detailed investigation in the case and has announced to compensate 2 Lakh rupees to dead. 22 kids have lost their lives so far and almost 40 innocent children are being treated in hospital in the Mid-day Meal tragedy.
