Patna: Bank PO found murdered at her residence, Police suspects dowry case

A bank probationary officer was found murdered in her husband's house on Kanti Factory road under the Patrakar Nagar police station area on Monday evening. Her husband and in-laws as well as the couple's 30-month-old son were not found in the house when police broke open the doors of the locked house. Charu Lata, a Bank of Baroda PO now in early 30s, was married to Mrityunjay Deo Saket in 2012. Police were informed by neighbours about foul smell emanating from the house around 4pm on Monday. Currently posted in the bank's Boring Canal Road branch in Patna, Charu Lata's body was found lying on the floor, half covered with a bed sheet and legs tied with a rope.
