DGMO: India conducts surgical strikes against terrorist launch pads across LoC

The Indian Army conducted surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistan occupied Kashmir inflicting significant damage to the terrorist infrastructure across the border.
Lt. General Ranbir Singh, DGMO, addressed the media in the national capital on Thursday, September 29. While addressing the media, Lt. General Ranbir Singh said, "Indian Army conducted surgical strikes on terror launch pads on the LoC, significant casualties have been caused."
He further added, "I spoke to the Pak DGMO, shared our concerns and told him that we conducted surgical strikes last night". “The motive of this operation was to hit out at the terrorists who were planning to infiltrate into our territory” he further added.
