The father had once dismissed rapes and sexual assaults as "boyish mistakes", and now the son refuses to accept responsibility for the rise of criminal cases in his own state.
Two cops on duty were shot dead in Firozabad on Sunday night.
On May 27, two teenage girls were found hanging on a tree in the Badaun district in UP.
They were raped and murdered. There was an alleged rape and murder of a 45 year old woman in the Bahraich district, UP.
Another woman has claimed four cops including one from the Hamirpur police raped her. Quite clearly, not all is well in Uttar Pradesh.
