Opposition LEFT and BJP demand NIA probe

After CPM, BJP on Tuesday reiterated its demand for a National Investigation Agency probe in the October 2 blast in Burdwan which linked two suspected militants, injured another.
"It has become now apparent that the Trinamool Congress is trying to cover up its links with terror outfits, otherwise why it is so opposed to the NIA stepping in. By belittling an issue concerning the nation's security, the Mamata Banerjee government is causing embarrassment for the entire nation," BJP national secretary Siddharth Nath Singh said. He added the state government's attitude towards the matter involving national security was becoming an embarrassment for the entire country.
