Senior BJP leader Raghubar Das will be the new chief minister of Jharkhand , becoming the first non-tribal CM of the state 14 years after it was carved out of Bihar.
BJP formally announced the name of Raghubar Das after he was selected as the leader of the BJP legislative party in a meeting of newly-elected MLAs in Ranchi.
