Mumbai: Fire at under construction building in Malad

A major fire broke out at a 42-storeyed building which is under construction at Omkar Alta Monte complex, Malad (East) on Friday night. No casualty has been reported so far.
"The fire started at around 10.30pm on 37th floor which later spread to 42nd floor. The construction material stock was kept on the building's terrace. Eight fire engines and three ambulances and eight policemen are at the spot," said assistant municipal commissioner of the P-north ward DP Jain.
