China punishes people who made threatening online comments against Kim Jong-un

Several Chinese people have been punished for posting online comments threatening North Korean leader Kim Jong-un while he traveled through the country on his way to the summits in Vietnam last week.
This was exceptionally as local authorities usually don't announce such punishments.
The Chinese city of Pingxiang announced that they detained or imposed fines on four people who posted comments on the 25th or 26th that they are either planning to assassinate Kim or detonate a bomb at a train station.
One of the people was detained for 15 days.
The announcement appears to be a warning to prevent unexpected incidents as Kim will take the same route to return to North Korea.
