Abarth 124 rally in the 2019 season - optimized Spider to maintain leadership position in rallying

Many details of the Abarth 124 rally were prepared for the 2019 season with the aim of further improving competitiveness on the rally tracks, and the engineers at Abarth achieved this goal through targeted interventions on the most important mechanical components as well as on the engine electronics, transmission and the suspension tuning.
During the first two rally seasons of the Abarth 124 rally, numerous data were collected on all routes. The on-going development process of Abarth engineers and the impor- tant impressions provided by experienced test pilot Alex Fiorio complemented the experience that other drivers and teams have made over the past two years. In addition to the rallies, 5,000 kilometers of test rides were unpacked and evaluated. Most of them drove on the same roads where many of the demanding special stages take place.
