Monkey causes chaos in chicken coop in southwest China

A monkey caused chaos after it broke into a villager's house in Jinping county, Yunnan province. The creature first jumped into a coop at about 7am and injured some chickens. Seeing people coming, the monkey became more aggressive and villagers had to call the police. The animal was caught an hour later. It was identified as a macaque — an animal under second-level state protection in China. It had no injuries and was later released into the wild by police.
