George Conway: Trump Wants To Be Re-Elected 'To Avoid Being Indicted'

George Conway again slammed President Trump on Twitter.

The war of words between President Trump and White House counselor Kellyanne Conway's husband, George Conway, continues.
Reacting to a tweet about Trump's potential legal exposure in New York, George Conway tweeted Friday: "THINK about the fact that we don't just have a mentally unstable president—but a president who thinks he needs to be re-elected to avoid being indicted. (At least in that one respect his thinking is clear.)"
The tweet came after Trump attacked him earlier this week.
"George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife's success & angry that I, with her help, didn't give him the job he so desperately wanted," Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. "I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!"
Trump's post followed a flurry of past Twitter activity from George Conway, who has been a frequent critic of Trump and, over the weekend, devoted a great deal of time to issuing warnings about the president's mental health.
"Whether or not impeachment is in order, a serious inquiry needs to be made about this man's condition of mind," George Conway asserted.
Trump went after George Conway on Tuesday as well.
"A total loser!" Trump wrote and included a tweet from his 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale.  Parscale's tweet stated: "We all know that @realDonaldTrump turned down Mr. Kellyanne Conway for a job he desperately wanted. He barely worked @TheJusticeDept and was either fired/quit, didn't want the scrutiny? Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn't even know him!"
