Texas Senator Ted Cruz has called for “full transparency” on the report recently completed by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has called for "full transparency" concerning the report recently completed by special counsel Robert Mueller.
During an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, the Republican lawmaker was asked if the public should see the full report.
"Absolutely," Cruz said. "I think the report needs to be made public, it needs to be released to the Congress and it needs to be released to the American people. This has consumed two years of the American people's time and we need to have full transparency. We need to know the special counsel's conclusions."
Mueller, who has spent nearly two years leading the investigation into Russia's 2016 election meddling and the Trump campaign's potential involvement, turned his report into Attorney General William Barr on Friday.
Now that the probe is complete, the question that remains is how much, if any, of the report's findings will be released.
According to CBS News, Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein have been examining the report and may provide Congressional lawmakers a summary of the findings within days.
