Tickets for the new Avengers movie went out today, and with them came a kickass new trailer for the film. It’s the most revealing of the trailers so far, finally showing us the full squad (including Captain Marvel), and even confirming Tony Stark’s return to Earth.
But since Marvel has been so secretive about the plot of their epic finale that’s been over a decade in the making, there’s still a lot of restraint being exercised in this teaster. For instance, it seems that about 75% of the shots shown here take place at/around the Avengers facility, with the main characters discussing their new mission plan. This leads me to believe that much of what Marvel’s allowing us to look at happens only within the opening act of the film. And for a film that’s been confirmed to be over 3 hours long, it’s clear that what we’re seeing here is barely even the tip of the iceberg.
