Minister Greg Rickford Interview - April 2 2019

Minister Greg Rickford sat down with NetNewsLedger to talk about economic development opportunities and the change in outlook for the mining industry. Rickford states that the new Ontario Government has done more work to open mines in eight months that the previous Liberal government did in the past eight years. Rickford recognised​ the efforts of first responders and communities members in Kenora who during the recent fire in the downtown, in Rickford's words, "saved the downtown". The Minister pointed to support offered in Kenora to Lake of the Woods Brewing Company and to Sweet, a Kenora Chocolate company.
