Water gushes down spillway of America's tallest dam for the 1st time in 2 years

The California Department of Water Resources opened the flood-control spillway at Oroville Dam for the first time since it crumbled during severe flooding in 2017. The entire city of Oroville was evacuated amid flood fears. The DWR calls the billion dollar renovation the biggest and fasted construction project in state history.
