Gov't to nurture development of new drugs, regenerative medicine to build healthcare industry

Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon says the healthcare industry is at a turning point,... due to changes accelerated by the fourth industrial revolution and the aging population.
Speaking at the 14th Bio Korea convention on Wednesday,... Lee said,... the government will focus on nurturing the creation of new drugs, medical devices, and regenerative medicine,... to respond to such changes.

Around 25-thousand people from research and biopharmaceutical firms from 50 countries are expected to participate in this year's Bio Korea event, which runs until Friday.
