Most of the Dehradun restaurants,hotels,financial offices,banks and other places connected alongwith the Rajpur road, which runs north from the clock tower , the unofficial center of Dehradun.Rajpur Road is main highway of Dehradun.It connects all the places in Dehra dun to each other as well as other cities too, that makes convenient to people for all services.
Sai Darbar Temple is located on Rajpur Road. This temple contains a high artistic,spititual and divine price and is visited by tourists from all over the country as well as foreigners from foreign.Tibetan Temple is also positioned on Rajpur Road next to the Sai Darbar Temple is a titanic,huge and colourful temple of Lord Buddha.

Dehradun has many beautiful old buildings. Unusually in India, house roofs are slanted, as rainfall can often be heavy. As winters can be cold, houses traditionally have a fireplace, even if they also have modern central heating. After Dehradun was made the capital of Uttarakhand there was a construction boom, especially in residential property. Modern buildings have gradually supplanted older architectural styles including those related to the British colonial rule of India. Important older buildings include Clock Tower, Forest Research Institute, CNI College, Morrison Memorial Church, Inamullah Building, Jama Masjid, Osho Meditation Center, Indian Military Academy and Darbar Sahib.
