The Dovells are best known for a handful of their early '60s dance hits which reached the charts.
In 1961, they had their first hit with 'Bristol Stomp' which charted at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number seven on the US Hot R&B chart. Their recording sold over one million copies and was awarded a gold disc.
This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida.
