The Clooneys Launch TrialWatch to Monitor Courtrooms Worldwide

Actor George Clooney and his prominent wife British lawyer Amal Clooney launch TrialWatch, an initiative to monitor courtrooms worldwide in partnership with the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, The American Bar Association, Columbia Law School, and Microsoft Corporation. Human rights activists and formerly prosecuted and jailed award-winning journalists Jason Rezaian, Mohamed Fahmy and Maria Ressa spoke about press freedom and the importance of monitoring courts to ensure due process and justice.
