Incredible footage shows the "largest gathering of snakes in the world", filmed by Dāv Kaufman in Manitoba, Canada.
The clip filmed May 15 shows the moment the snakes came out of hibernation and began to mate, showing thousands of the red-sided garter snakes all trying to find the few females in the group.
“But a few of these males are pretty sneaky and will mimic the pheromones that the female is giving off and all the other males will follow him then he’ll go back and breed with the female uncontested,” Kaufman who's from Minnesota, told Newsflare.
