In the clip, an elderly Chinese man drives a go-kart among the vehicles on a busy road in Bao'an district.
Reports said the man named Ye received an urgent call from his company and instead of going back home to pick up his car, he drove his grandson's go-kart to work.
Ye has been fined 1000 Yuan (£115) by the police.
