Gears of war 2 Single Player Bug

OK i was playing SP today and i got to a bit where you choose to go left or right i went left i then killed all the little guys then went through the door to find the turret marcus shouts on dom to help him he come to his aid only for the game to freeze not the console the game if i open the drawer the dash comes up.

now this happens every time you allow dom to kill the turret guard if i kill the turret guy the game doesn't freeze so any one else care to test this please as it could be an issue with the new Dashboard but i don't see it being so.
