Commuters in Venezuela's Caracas forced to walk in the dark amid nationwide blackout
  • 5 years ago
A massive power outage hit the majority of Venezuela on Monday (July 22) for the fourth time this year.

At least 18 of the 23 states have remained without power for several hours.

Footage shows residents walking in the dark in Caracas after the city's metro stopped working.

Venezuelan authorities have claimed the power cut was caused by an ''electromagnetic attack''.
