Another tragic incident in the U.S., and this time it's in Southern California.
A violent stabbing rampage has left several people dead and others injured.
Our Kim Da-mi has the details.
The stabbing spree on Thursday, local time, left 4 people dead and two critically wounded.
The incident began a little after 4PM in Garden Grove, near LA, where a 33-year-old man ran into more than ten places, including a restaurant and a gas station.
Two men were stabbed at an apartment complex, along with a man at a restaurant and a security guard at a convenience store. All 4 died from their injuries.
The suspect was arrested around two and a half hours after the stabbing spree.
"Our undercover investigators located the suspect vehicle in front of the 7-Eleven at Harbor and First Street in the city of Santa Ana. The suspect was ordered to comply with the officers at which time he dropped both weapons and complied and was taken into custody without further incident."
Police identified the suspect as Zachary Castaneda, a 33-year-old Hispanic resident of Garden Grove.
He has also been identified as a documented gang member who had previously been in prison for possession of methamphetamine for sale while armed with an assault rifle.
While police said there is no indication this was a hate crime, his motive is not yet known.
Police are investigating multiple crime scenes and said that there were at least three different robberies where the suspect took cash.
