WATCH: Imelda Marcos visits Gloria Arroyo

MANILA - Former First Lady Imelda Marcos on Wednesday visited former President and now Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) where the latter is under hospital arrest. Video taken by ABS-CBN showed Mrs. Arroyo chatting with Mrs. Marcos as she was approaching her car. Mrs. Arroyo was wearing a loose blue dress while Mrs. Marcos was wearing a black terno. Mrs. Marcos is the latest personality to visit the former President at the VMMC. Other personalities who have visited Arroyo are former Presidents Fidel Ramos and Joseph Estrada, former Vice President Noli de Castro, Jesus is Lord leader Eddie Villanueva, former AFP chief of intelligence service Victor Corpus, Lingayen Dagupan Archbishop Emeritus Oscar Cruz, and Lipa City Archbishop Ramon Arguelles. Mrs. Arroyo is facing plunder charges over the alleged misuse of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office funds. She is currently asking the Sandiganbayan to grant her bail, saying the charges against her are weak. ANC, January 22, 2014
