[EMBED VIDEO] MANILA – Who would have thought that a graduate of a four-year-course can end up being an embalmer, and a lady one at that? Meet Anne Bullo, your friendly neighborhood embalmer, who ended up being in the profession for lack of job opportunities in hospitals as a registered nurse. According to Anne, she earns P12,000-P15,000 at a funeral home, processing two to three bodies a day. Asked by TV Patrol news anchor Korina Sanchez if she has any regrets, Anne said: “Hindi po ako nagsisisi, kasi mas okay po yung salary. Tapos po, tahimik po ang environment ko,” she said. Anne is only one among the many graduates who sought employment outside of their profession because of lack of experience, or lack of opportunities. However, the Department of Labor and Employment said there are a number of job opportunities out there just waiting to be tapped by graduates, old and new alike.
