BIR files tax complaint vs PMA president

The BIR filed a complaint against Leo Olarte, the president of the Philippine Medical Association. His tax liability is pegged at P2.9 million over a seven-year period. Olarte earlier challenged the BIR to file cases against doctors who they believe are tax cheats, instead of subjecting them to a shame campaign. ANC Dateline Philippines, March 27, 2013
