A detailed explanation of how to start exercises after femur or thigh bone fracture. this is part 1 of the series.in the last video, I asked you about your queries and questions regarding pain due to fracture of the thigh bone or femur bone. many people among you have asked about how to start exercises after thigh bone fracture. because at the time of examination it is merely said by your doctor that now your bone is healing up and you start exercises at home. But we are confused about how to start exercises and when to do. so friends in today's video I will tell you how to start exercises after thigh fracture. friends depending upon the severity and complexity of thigh bone fracture. the healing period may range from 21 days to 180 days. and due to lying on a bed for such a long time the tissues and muscles with support thigh bone does not have activity. this period is called a period of immobilization. so in the starting first exercise, we will gently mobilize the tissues and muscles supporting thigh bone. so in the first exercise as shown in the video by lying on the bed just flex your knee slowly and then gradually extend it to starting position. do this exercise in 8 to 10 repetitions three times a day. this exercise improves blood circulation in the Thigh. and tissues get mobilized. it also causes mild stretching of the muscles which support the thigh bone. so friends if you are also recovering recently from thigh bone fracture. Then start your rehabilitation program with this first exercise. and in the next video, I will tell you the next exercise number 2 and progressively we will add on all other exercises slowly.
