Airline Reveals
'Baby Locator Map'.
A new feature from Japan Airlines (JAL) will help
you avoid sitting too close to infants on planes.
Passengers traveling with children between 8 days and 2 years old who select their seats on the JAL website will have a child icon displayed on their seats on the seat
selection screen, Japan Airlines, via website.
JAL's tool has garnered
positive responses from
social media users.
Thank you, @JAL_Official_jp for warnings me about where babies plan to scream and yell during a 13 hour trip. This really ought to be mandatory across the board, @dequinix, via Twitter.
The 'baby seat map' can only be
seen when making bookings on
Japan Airlines' main website.
If there is a plane change,
the map will also not be displayed.
JAL offers many
baby-friendly amenities
for travelers.
In addition to stroller rentals,
it gives parents with babies
priority boarding.
Its planes also have
diaper changing facilities
