Chinese driver luckily survives after taxi rolls down 100-metre-high cliff

A driver luckily survived after his taxi rolled down a 100-metre-high cliff in southern China.

The dashcam video, shot in the city of Guangyuan in Sichuan Province on November 7, shows the taxi suddenly smashing off the side of the mountain road and tumbling down the 427-foot-high cliff.

The taxi was suspected to be speeding and the driver misoperated at the turning.

The vehicle was lifted up by a crane and the driver was sent to hospital.

According to the doctor, the taxi driver suffered several fractures but he was not in a life-threatening condition.

The case is being investigated, reports said.
