A Hong Kong police officer was filmed shooting a protester at near point-blank range with a pepper-spray pellet gun yesterday (November 11).

Filmed in Tseung Kwan O, demonstrators can be seen facing off with police and then retreat once the officer discharges multiple rounds of pepper spray pellets.

This comes after widely circulated footage of another protester was shot by a police officer at close range leaving him hospitalised in critical condition.
