China confirms two cases of pneumonic plague; spread to S. Korea unlikely

Two cases of plague have been confirmed in China,... raising concerns over the possible spread of the illness to South Korea.
However, Korean health officials say the risk of the highly contagious disease spreading here is very low,.. adding they have enough vaccines in stock, even if an outbreak was to occur.
Pneumonic plague plague causes symptoms such as fever, headache and vomiting.
If left untreated, it has a mortality rate of nearly 100-percent.
