The New Clark Facility that cost P9.5 billion to build for the South East Asian Games was given a Class 1 international rating. Upon the interpellation of Senator Franklin Drilon, Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Butch Ramirez said the 84-year-old Rizal Memorial Sports Complex could be upgraded to the same standards for P1.2 billion.
