Hacked Disney+ Accounts
Are Reportedly Being Sold for $3.
News site ZDNet reports that thousands
of Disney+ accounts were hijacked by
hackers, just hours after the streaming
service launched.
Hacked accounts were being
given away for free or sold for
between $3 to $11.
According to ZDNet, users reported
being logged out of their accounts by
hackers who then changed both the
emails and passwords.
A Disney spokesperson told CNBC that “there is no indication of a security breach on Disney+.”.
Cybersecurity experts suspect
users may have reused credentials
that had been breached at other companies
