After lots of months, I'm updating Pokémon Crimson & Navy at last! and Route XII and Terminal City are already finished!
In Terminal City, you'll meet Chip, the developer of the Pokémon Storage System in Paric Region, who's going to give you one of the three elemental monkeys from the 5th generation (Pansage, Pansear and Panpour), depending on the Pokémon starter you chose at the beginning.
And upstairs in his house, there is his sister, who's an expert in reviving Pokémon Fossils, so you can give her the fossil you found in the Mining Plant to turn it into one of two prehistoric Pokémon, Anorith and Tirtouga.
Terminal City also has its own Pokémon Gym, directed by Vivian, a punk rocker and lead singer of her own rock band "132", who also specializes in Dark-type Pokémon.
Her Gym has a door-switch puzzle based on the Goldenrod City underground part from Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal.
