Beginning of Kenji Eno's 1995 horror FMV game, the DOS version. Fake interlace applied by the engine to the TrueMotion video data to make upscaling just a bit cheaper has been removed with yadif and that's why the picture looks a bit filthy.
Of note is that I failed to obtain a clue critical to solving this area's set of puzzles thanks to the flashback-inducing insect found in the drawer (spawning of which can be skipped). Since the game is on timer (two hours of real world time before you get a bad end), this is one of the roadblocks Eno tried to pile on you, I guess. Not that it matters much, the game is short and segments can be skipped if you know the answers.
