Ranjan Gogoi nominated for Rajya Sabha, Asaduddin Owaisi raised questions. President Ram Nath Kovind has nominated former Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi to the Rajya Sabha. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification nominating Ranjan Gogoi. According to the notification, Ranjan Gogoi has been nominated on the vacant seat due to the retirement of one of the nominated members of the Rajya Sabha.

राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने पूर्व चीफ जस्टिस रंजन गोगोई को राज्यसभा के लिए मनोनीत किया है. गृह मंत्रालय ने रंजन गोगोई को नामित करने वाली अधिसूचना जारी की. अधिसूचना के मुताबिक राज्यसभा के नामित सदस्यों में से एक के रिटायरमेंट की वजह से रिक्त हुई सीट पर रंजन गोगोई को नामित किया गया है.
