NN Special: How Naxals pose biggest threat to Chhattisgarh elections?

Just a day after four civilians and one security personnel lost their lives in an IED blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district, a BSF jawan on Sunday was killed when the terror outfit blew up an explosive device in Kanker district. However, amidst unprecedented security in the Maoist-affected area, the first phase of the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections is slated to held on Monday. To ensure fearless, free and fair polling in 18 constituencies, over 650 paramilitary companies has been deployed in the poll-bound state.
