Speaking to News Nation, Nida Khan, a petitioner in one of several triple talaq cases, expressed concern after Rajya Shaba passed the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2019. “We did not want the provision of criminalization in the Bill. Now, women will suffer more,” she added.
