Prithvi Theatre is one of the most popular threates in Mumbai. It was founded by legendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor in 1944. In 1975, a trust was set up by his son Shashi Kapoor in his memory with an aim to promote professional theatre, promote aspiring artists, host and conduct workshops.
