Peaceful protestors are facing police as they shoot rubber bullets in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday (May 31), while protestors create a wall to protect themselves.
A curfew was placed at the time of the protesting, but most were not aware due to not having their phones at the time.
"A lot of protestors had absolutely zero knowledge of [the city of Santa Monica] announcing a 4 pm curfew this day," the filmer said. "The police did not have signs up on Ocean Ave with the updated change (was 6 pm but they adjusted it around 3 pm to reflect at 4 pm)."
"As soon as the tear gas filled up the media section, police started shooting tear gas and rubber bullets into the crowd while the media ran for cover."
