Tencent Games has recently rolled out the latest update 0.13.0 for its popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile. The new update brings the all-new Team Deathmatch mode to EvoGround along with the Godzilla theme for lobby background.
The Team Deathmatch (TDM) is probably the alien mode for core PUBG players, and most of them might not have an idea about the new game mode, its gameplay, features and more. Here’s everything you need to know about the new 4v4 Team mode.
PUBG Mobile 4v4 Team mode: GameplayThe Team Deathmatch features very different gameplay compared to any other mode of the game. The closest is the ‘War’ mode. The TDM mode is a fast-paced match in which players join the game in the team of four, either in the first-person or third-person perspective and fight with the opponent team members. The team who scores a total kill of 40 before the other side, wins the match.
Another difference between the battle royale mode and TDM is players get to choose their primary weapon, secondary weapon along with their accessories at the team base. Also, players automatically respawn at the team base with the gun they had previously selected and given invulnerability for a few seconds after the spawn. It is also worth mentioning that the health bar refills automatically when the players are not under attack allowing them to take cover and regenerate their health when hurt.
PUBG Mobile 4v4 Team mode: Maps and weaponsCurrently, the 4v4 TDM has only one map called TDM: Warehouse. Coming to weapon selection, this mode offers a wide range of assault rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, etc. Players also have the option to choose several weapon attachments as per their gameplay like 4X scope, red dot, foregrip, half grip, etc. Apart from this, there’s an M249 light-machine gun placed at the centre of the map. As M249 has a magazine size of 100 and can carry a maximum of 500 bullets, the weapon gives players an edge over others during the match.
