AMD FX-4300 Upgraded with GTX 560 1gb gddr5 for extra texture memory

So here I'll show you the expensive £5 or $7 motherboard I won on ebay that is powering this FX-4300. It's an MSI socket AM3+ that seems to work which is unusual considering the price I won it for. Well only issue is the 2 front internal usb 2.0 ports are dead but the internal USB 3.0 and HD audio ports work just fine. So I'll make do with USB 3 which is faster anyhow.

Only thing I did do was replace the GTX 460 768mb gddr5 with a GTX 560 1gb gddr just for extra texture memory. Same card just overcloked and re branded as GTX 560 with better power phases. Wqnt to see it run Lara Croft Rise of the Tomb Raider? Sure no problem just watch the video I've included captured footage of gameplay.

If you like this kind of stuff don't forget to Subscribe and I'll see you in the next one. I sure do have fun pushing older hardware to see what it can do.

Verdict: very playable.

System Specs for us nerds:
AMD FX-4300 stock speed of 3.8ghz
8GB DDR3 ram in unganged mode 2x4.
GTX Point of View 560 1GB gddr5 at it's stock speed.
Motherboard: MSI 760GMA-P34 (FX) AM3+

Not bad for 2020. Nice little setup. Benchmark. Thing. You know play games on it lol.
