The Multicultural Choir of Saint George of Beaujoire Catholic Church in Nantes, France is both a resident and touring choir. This is an excerpt from their practice just before Pentecost in 2019. Their practice was at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Nantes.
René P, is the choirmaster of the Chorale Choeur Métis. René invites singers to join the group with the words of Georges Lefebvre, “You form the body of Christ and you are one of those members. You have received gifts, use them to seek the best. Among these gifts we have is that of the voice, to sing the praises of the Lord and to help pray.”
Saint George of Beaujoire Catholic Church is located at 55 bd de la Beaujoire, Nantes, France. The pastors are Reverend Father Pierre Lemaitre and Reverend Father Emmanuel Fortineau. Pastoral associates are Eric Gaudy, Gabriel Gizard, Isabelle Bachelier, Marie Françoise Guillaume, Sister Michèle Matejka, Jean Baptiste Diouf, Isabelle Oum, and Muriel Klein.
The lyrics come from Isaiah 43:1, 4, 5, 7, 10-13. The music was composed by Frère Jean-Baptiste du Jonchay (Carmelite community).
