A courtroom TV drama from a serial about the career of barrister Sir Edward Marshall Hall, starring Jonathan Hyde in the title role. This episode sees Hyde taking on the case of a woman (Sian Phillips) who is being sued for libel by her son in law Lord Russell after she brands him a homosexual in public, due to his behaviour and failed marriage to her daughter (Amanda Elwes).
