The Indian Navy’s elite special force, that specialises in everything from counter terrorism to underwater operations and sabotage to anti-piracy ops. मार्कोस या समुद्री कमांडो भारतीय नौसेना की एक विशेष बल इकाई है जिसे 1987 में स्थापित किया गया था. मार्कोस का प्रशिक्षण इतना व्यापक होता है कि इनको आतंकवाद से लेकर, नेवी ऑपरेशन, और एंटी पायरेसी ऑपरेशन में भी इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. सेना के 1000 सैनिकों में से कोई एक ही मार्कोस कमांडो बन पाता है. इसका मतलब इसमें सिलेक्शन होना बहुत ही मुश्किल होता है.
