A heroic worker held up a 3-year-old boy hanging from a second-floor window for half an hour until the help arrived in southern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province on August 23, shows a man inside the flat trying to lift the boy up, while a worker with a helmet climbed up to the first floor of the building and held the boy from the bottom.

After the firefighters arrived, they cut the security bars to open and brought the boy back to safety with the man and the worker.

According to reports, the boy's grandmother went out shopping when he was sleeping.

After the boy woke up, he climbed onto the window to try to find his grandmother and accidentally fell out of it.
