Asif Raza Khan is a well known eulogy-noha, nasheed-manqabat and supplication-prayers reciter/vocalist among Shia Muslims around the world.
Noha (نوحه) is poetry vocalised melodically in expressing the sorrow felt by Shi’a (شيعہ) Muslims for their leader Prophet Muhammad’s grandson Imam Hussain (امام حُسين) and his family's murders at the Battle of Karbala (کربلا) Iraq in the year 680 CE.
Asif Raza Khan was born and raised in Quetta, Pakistan and currently living in OSLO Norway.
Asif Raza Khan has released 17 albums since his debut album in 2000, at the age of 16.
