Human trafficking continues to be a challenge in South Africa. There’s been increasing calls for government to intervene. Advocacy groups claim the crime is rife. Statistics show that 23 percent of children who go missing are never found. Sex workers also continue to be the subject of human rights violations and gender-based violence.
