S. Korea's producer price index up 0.1% m/m in September

South Korea's producer prices increased for the fourth month in a row in September... mainly on higher prices of agricultural and fishery products.
The Bank of Korea said Wednesday that its producer price index last month edged up point-one percent on-month.
Prices of agricultural and fishery goods rose 4-point-9 percent on-month with the price of cabbage and green pepper jumping over 30 percent and nearly 90 percent respectively.
It was due to the longest monsoon season and the increased demand during South Korea's Chuseok holiday.
The prices of industrial goods, however, edged down point-one percent on-month led by drop in global oil prices.
